Nearly all of us have been touched by homelessness: either through personal experience, the experiences of those we know through work or school, or seeing someone homeless on the street. The wonderful people at the National Coalition are doing everything they can to raise awareness about this important cause. Please take a minute and read through the below and see what you can do to learn about events happening in your community.

The National Coalition for the Homeless is determined to fight hunger and homelessness, the most extreme expressions of poverty, until they no longer exist. National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is an opportunity for us all to work together to understand the enduring nature of poverty and to enact the systemic policies necessary to change the course of hunger and homelessness.
